What other Transition Towns are doing - #2: Borough of Haringey, North London, UK

Little did I know when visiting my sister in London, UK, over Easter that her neighbourhood was, in fact, a Transition "muller"! (i.e. not yet official but "mulling it over") Quite coincidentally, I found out about the Crouch End & Hornsey Transition Initiative (CHATI). Nice acronym. And I still can’t stop giggling about the name “Crouch End”...

Solar Power with Ourpower.ca

The Toronto Renewable Energy Co-op (TREC) continues to put together cool projects! They recently launched Our Power - offering full assistance to Ontarians who want to put solar panels on their roofs.

If you count yourself among those who've thought about solar rooftops, you should check out the website.

Like food? How about joining a CSA this season?!

A new member (Ann Marie) recently posted about a CSA with growers in the Kawartha region called the Kawartha Ecological Growers, that was already more than 50% sold, and it gave me the sudden urge to post about this great way to get food direct from the farm and support local farmers at the same time.
