This past Sunday was one of the first of the many "Permablitzes" to happen this summer. The Permablitz Programme is run by The Permaculture Project - GTA (TPP - GTA) and involves people showing up at a garden, back yard, or any space, and turning it into a permaculture food garden. Little did I know when visiting my sister in London, UK, over Easter that her neighbourhood was, in fact, a Transition "muller"! (i.e. not yet official but "mulling it over") Quite coincidentally, I found out about the Crouch End & Hornsey Transition Initiative (CHATI). Nice acronym.
