Downsizing Harbord Village Neighbourhood Footprint

The Transition Harbord Village Group which is part of Transition Toronto wants to inject some new energy into the group to start a second wave of projects. There has been great work done in the past, and we are wanting to get new people involved to start making the Neighbourhood a friendlier place to live. Enbridge Pipeline Protest and Hunger Strike at Queen's Park

The students and staff of Bella Bella Community School (in British Columbia) are standing together in opposition to the proposed Enbridge Pipeline that would bring supertankers filled with oil along the coast of the Great Bear Rainforest, jeopardizing the environment upon which we rely for sustenance, both physical and spiritual.  They are asking that we join them in 48-hour hunger strike from April 1st at 4 pm to April 3rd at 4 pm.
