Great to bump into you at the Big Carrot. Where else when not at EBW!
Can you send me your email at andrew.simpson99@gmail.com
Andrew
Hi again, Rebecca - It turns out there's someplace I must be at 2pm on Wednesday, the 15th, when I'm planning to attend your meeting at 5pm. I believe I'll be able to get there, but in case I can't, I'm wondering how we can stay in touch. I'm thinking this comment wall is not the best way to exchange cel fone nums. Could you send me an email, and I'll reply with my cel fone num, and you can then send me yours? voteellen@greenparty.ca Thanks!
YP Leung said… Hi Rebecca,
Transition Cafe sounds phenomenal! I would like to have start a transitional co-operative building. We could include a cafe on the main floor.
I have some money to invest but not enough to buy a whole building. Perhaps we can merge are ideas:

If you want to meet. Please give me a shout at ypinterest at yahoo.com or call me at 647-393-5780. My name is YP.
Bonnie Mok said… Hi Rebecca,
I have done a placement at Rose Avenue 2 yrs ago, I currently don't have a teaching job unfortunately. I actually work on Wed evenings actually at a shelter not far from there at all (gerrard and sherbourne). It's called Robertson House, it's run by the city and it's for single moms and their kids. So unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the meeting. Maybe a chat on the phone would be good, where should I leave you my #?
Stephanie Ann Pickering said… See you on the 15th then! Thanks Rebecca!
Bonnie Mok said… Hi Rebecca,
The Community Cafe sounds really great. Is this project still connected with Rose Avenue PS? I'm a teacher, and I may be able to help with the kid aspect if there is one. In any event, keep us updated on events and I'd be happy to help out where I can.
Bonnie

joanna recine said… Hello
Frankly have been thinking and discussing how to use cafe /space for community bonding and renewal and enabling local production ..and maybe we have some synergy - I know someone who had land and big roof top for gardening..and i can see the possibility of combining assets and skills. Are you thinking of a coop style?
I would like to have your web site or perhaps just find a space to meet up and start a conversation. Yes there is a better way.
Amelia Rose Khan said… Hello Rebecca,
I would like to help you out on this project. A group that I work with (Toronto Climate Campaign) did one of these Conversations at the Occupy Toronto site. We would like to expand this to other places and would like to help you out.
As for myself, I am good with everything you listed you need help with and would like to see how we can get this going.
Thanks
