Enbridge Pipeline Protest and Hunger Strike at Queen's Park

The students and staff of Bella Bella Community School (in British Columbia) are standing together in opposition to the proposed Enbridge Pipeline that would bring supertankers filled with oil along the coast of the Great Bear Rainforest, jeopardizing the environment upon which we rely for sustenance, both physical and spiritual. What aspects of Transition are you most passionate about?: Community

What are your skills that could help with Transition?: mediation, facilitation, training in nonviolent social change

If you could design your own role in Transition Toronto, what would it involve?: interested in facilitating the formation of a neighbourhood 'green' or transition group in the Annex area. I'm a member fo the Quaker meeting, 60 Lowther Ave, and this could provide a base or meeting place for activities, so would like to connect with other 'transitioners' there. We are already running a series of films and speakers 'green screens' in March and April

How many hours per month would you realistically spend on Transition Toronto?: 4 hrs or so

Are you affiliated with any other organizations in the City?: Yes, Quakers, Toronto Climate Campaign, Voice of Women, PeaceWorks (training for social change); I am a networker
