Worth thinking about! Lynn asked me the same thing. I forgot to mention it at tonight's Steering Committee meeting but I'll bring it up and see what others think. Perhaps we could JOIN another group(s) who's already started planning an event or activity.

Does anyone know about other events planned for that day?

Yes, we should definitely do something! It'd be a crime to miss it! And hooking up with another group that are doing something might be a great way to make connections and raise awareness. I'll see what I can dig up! On the other hand, though, doing something on our own and putting footage of it up on the web might be very effective too - I'm thinking along the lines of a YouTube video. What do people think?
