Now that the weather is warming up and the sun is shining, we here at Toronto Green Community are itching to get the garden ready for summer! It has been a slow start to the season, so there is a lot of work to catch up on to prepare the beds for planting!
NEW! Starting May 2012, there will be TWO workbees each week in the Eglinton Park Community Garden. The workbees will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5- 8 pm. If you love gardening, have a green thumb, want to learn more about our fantastic garden or just meet new people, come on out to the garden during the workbees and lend a hand!
We also have a full season of amazing workshops lined up, with a range of topics to suit everyone's interests (see attached flyer below).
If you have any questions, you can contact Colette by phone 416 781 7663 or by email: garden@ torontogreen.ca.
Happy planting!
