Event Description
Join the East End Community Health Centre for their FREE film screening, as part of a new film series in 2012.
"Forks Over Knives" puts the idea of food as medicine to the test. In this film, the cameras follow “reality patients” who have chronic conditions from heart disease to diabetes. Doctors teach these patients how to adopt a better diet in order to treat their health problems—and the challenges and triumphs of their journeys are revealed.
East End CHC dietitians will be available for information after the film. Refreshments will be provided. Call to reserve your spot!
