Event Description

The St. Jamestown Cafe project is meant to facilitate social progress and community building in a social setting while providing responsibly sourced food and local entertainment.  It doesn't get more "Transition" than that!  The upcoming cafe is this Friday.  We hope to see you there!

Menu: a mixed veggie currie and red kidney bean dahl, romaine leaf salad with mixed veggies (the same veggies as being used in the main dishes), an eggplant dish called choka, naan bread, rice, a roasted beets/onions/potato dish with tahini sauce, gluten-free carrot cake.
(The majority of the food will be coming from Food Share).

Recipes will be printed and made available to everyone.

The theme of the cafe will be Spring Celebration (to celebrate beginnings).

Decor will be colourful to reflect spring; everyone is strongly encouraged to wear bright clothes.

Regent Park Music School will provide music.

There will be kids' activities (painting, drawing, etc)

A spring painting will be auctioned.
