Hi Transition Folks!
I'm in need of some sturdy volunteers! I work in supportive housing as a garden program coordinator. The house is for people with severe and persistant mental illness who have previously had no means to supportive themselves.
To help make the garden more accessible we are building some raised beds and need help! The donated wood should arrive on May 12th so it would be great to build the beds in the week or weekend after.
What we need to do is:
-Transplant what is already in the space (tulips, mints, black eyed susans)
- Build and design 3 beds 11' tall, 3' wide and 8' long using donated wood
- Fill beds with soil
What we may need:
- Tools (circular saw/ hand saw, hammers)
Ideally there would be around 6 folks (2 per bed). You're help will be much appreciated - having the garden program for the residents at the house makes a big difference for their mental and physical wellness.
You'll be rewarded with a dinner at my house after a hard days work!

Date is TBA!
Thank you!!

Jessica, did you get sufficient response? I wish I could help but I'm not available tomorrow. But let's connect and see how I may help with other future projects.
Cheers!
Joy
