This is the second of three film-making workshops taught by award-winning director Greg Greene (www.endofsuburbia.com) and film-maker Josh Graham. This workshop is open to anyone interested in making films, and to those in the Transtion Toronto Film Contest (http://transitiontoronto.ning.com/page/transition-toronto-film).
This workshop is about the film production process. It will help you get, rent, or borrow the necessary equipment at little cost and use the equipment you already have to its best effect. It will connect you to film equipment co-ops, and teach you basic technical skills such as how to use available light and how to obtain optimal sound quality.
The cost of the workshop is $15 (or included in the $35 registration for all three workshops). Anyone registering for any of the three Transition Toronto film workshops is eligible to enter the Transition Toronto film contest without paying the contest registration fee. Members of the National Film Board of Canada are eligible for a further discount. See contest details here: http://transitiontoronto.ning.com/page/transition-toronto-film
