Event Description

Learn to improve your gardens, lawns, and trees while minimizing your home's waste!  Composting is a great way to improve your soil and ensure that anything that you grow can be bountiful as well as organic.  This course will show you how to select the right compost bin, choose the best location, choose the right mix of waste to be composted, and maintain and harvest your compost in order to be able to use it in your gardens or even on your lawn.  In addition, we will look at the use of vermiculture to give you a superior compost harvest (using worms) in less time than using typical compost methods.

Cost: $20 if you bring your own bin / $30 if bin is supplied at workshop for you to take home.

DOORS OPEN AT 6:30. EVENT STARTS AT 7:00, FINISHES AT 9:00 PM.
